Mind Therapies

Neurodevelopmental services at Mind Professionals

Neurodevelopmental conditions affect how people learn, communicate, behave, and experience the world around them. At Mind Professionals, we provide specialist Autism and ADHD assessments for children, young people, and adults through NHS-funded and self-pay pathways.

Our services are designed to be clear, supportive, and clinically robust, helping individuals and families understand their needs and access appropriate next steps.

Who we support

We support:

  • Children and young people (CYP)
  • Adults

Support is available through different routes depending on:

  • Where your GP is based, and
  • Whether you are accessing care through the NHS or self-pay.

Conditions we assess

We provide assessments for:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Autism affects how a person communicates, interacts socially, and experiences the world. It is a spectrum, meaning people can have very different strengths and challenges.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
ADHD affects attention, activity levels, and impulse control. It can present differently in children, young people, and adults.

Combined autism and ADHD

Some people meet criteria for both conditions. Where appropriate, we offer combined assessments to give a clearer, joined-up understanding.

All assessments are carried out by appropriately qualified clinicians and follow NICE guidance and recognised diagnostic standards.

Our commitment to quality and NHS alignment

Whether services are accessed through the NHS or self-pay, we are committed to:

  • NICE-compliant assessments
  • Multidisciplinary clinical input where required
  • Clear, accessible reports written in plain English
  • Reasonable adjustments for sensory, communication, or accessibility needs
  • Accurate information and honest communication about what each pathway includes

We work within NHS commissioning frameworks where these are in place and ensure our services align with local and national clinical standards.
