The diagnostic assessment process involves use of detailed age-specific ADHD screening tools such as Connor’s 4 & Brown’s rating scales, followed by clinical diagnostic interview involving developmental history; a full mental health assessment and physical health and review, along with administration of age specific ADHD diagnostic assessment tools such as ACE, ACE+ , DIVA-5 which measure against DSM-5 criteria to conclude the diagnostic outcome.
